Empire of New Korongo To: The ULNDF From: Joseph Ackerman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Subject: NGSR
Greetings, The Empire of New Korongo would like to submit the Sheffield Oxford Mk. IV into the NGSR Competition. The Mk. IV, which was designed for the NSGR competition, incorporates lessons learned from previous rifles in the Sheffield Oxford series, including the Mk. II which is currently the main rifle of the Royal New Korongo Armed Forces. One of the main features of the Mk. IV is the quad rail system, three accessory rails and a sight rail that allow almost all STANAG 2324 compliant accessories to be mounted. The bottom image is just one of many examples of what accessories can be mounted. The base rifle's sights include a detachable rear aperture sight (not shown) and a flip up front sight. The rifle fire the .280 British cartridge and is fed from a 30 round magazine, this magazine features a slit on each side so the user can easily check how many rounds are remaining. There are three different firing modes, semi-automatic (1), fully automatic (F) and 3 round burst (3) as well as a safe mode (S). Each mode is clearly marked on the fire selector. The cocking handle is located on the left side of the rifle. A left handed version is also available which basically has the controls switched over from each side of the rifle. The Mk. IV is clearly of bullpup design, this allows the rifle to be a similar length to the M4 carbine but have a much longer barrel which improves accuracy and muzzle velocity. We hope that the Mk. IV is what you are looking for and that you will consider it for use with the ULNDF.- Weight - 3.95 kg
- Length - 850 mm
- Barrel Length - 555mm
- Cartridge - .280 British
- Action - Gas-operated, rotating bolt
- Rate of Fire - 800 rpm
- Muzzle Velocity - 780 m/s
- Effective Range - 585 m
- Feed System - 30 Round Box Magazine

I would suggest instead of taking in a round, create one.

I Changing the rules for the Competition, you are now able to use what ammunition you want and if your accepted, then we'll be using that particular caliber. But if you do not have any idea for what caliber you want, you can go use the .280 British or the 6.8 Remington SPC

To: The ULNDF From: William S. Kennedy, Minister of Foreign Affairs Subject: NGSR Greetings, The Armed Republic of Sans Frontieres would like to submit the 'Black Arrow' -MSF NGR Model No.3 into the NGSR Competition. The NGR Model No.03 is a 7.92x33mm or a 7.62x39mm assault rifle, firing from a closed rotary bolt. Its design and functioning is similar to that of the P90 sub-machine gun, of which it is a derivative. The materials used to build the NGR X3 are almost entirely composites — with the notable exception of the cold hammer forged steel barrel. Preliminary tests in desert and Arctic conditions have shown NGR X3 to be a rugged weapon and is reported to be capable of firing 12,000 rounds without cleaning or lubrication and has a barrel life of approximately 20,000 - 21,000 rounds whereas when compared with The M16A2, the latter needs to be cleaned more often, and has a barrel life of approximately 7,000–8,000 rounds. The Weight of the Assault Rifle has been greatly reduced from the earlier 4.2kg to 3.5kg when Fully loaded with a clip of 40 rounds. ===Specifications:=== |"Black Arrow"-NGR Model No. 03 |- |Manufacturer: || [[Ingeniar Sans Frontieres]] |- |Unit Cost: || $3,400 |- |Caliber: || 7.62x39mm & 7.92x33mm |- | Weight:
Loaded: || 3.020 kg Empty,
3.520 kg Loaded |- |Overall Length: || 705 mm |- |Barrel Length: || 375 mm |- |Muzzle Velocity: || 715 m/s (2,346 ft/s) |- |Rate of Fire: || 900 rounds/min |- |Effective range: || 600 meters |- |Action: || Gas-operated, rotating bolt |- |Feed System: || 40-round detachable Box Magazine
