A Little Poll about slavery to see what action the ULN might take on it.

i personally think it should be a don't ask don't tell issue. Member states can allow slavery but the ULN or invidual members are allowed to deny military help if the anti-slaver nations decide to attack a ULN member over slavery.

I'd say ban it outright. It's ridiculously inefficient (Look at the American south circa mid 1800's), and violates what I view to be basic human rights.

I would not like discrimination due to my beliefs, I say allow it. What if the slavery your thinking of isnt the slavery that a nation practices, what if prisoners could choose prison or slavery (or they be forced into one)? What if slavery is a means of punishment for a capital offense?

Then what you're thinking of is indentured servitude, which technically isn't slavery, as you're not somebody else's property. If serving time, or paying debt with labor makes you the property of another person, that would be slavery. We'd have to check the WA's definition of slavery.

Don't ask don't tell. There is two types of slavery: _ A type where the slaves have no rights and the owners/sellers/dealers have on regulations. _ A type where the slaves have the basic human rights and the owners/sellers/dealers have regulations to respect and an independent body whom checks upon the slaves weekly.
The 2nd option is in effect in Globexanter (I call it inverted servitude). I would say to allow the 2nd, or don't ask don't tell.

Maltropia is entirely opposed to slavery, and would prefer that nations practising it be ejected from the ULN.
No offense intended to anyone, of course, but that's how I roll.

I would actually call the 2nd Option a Domestic Worker, You see they have Human Rights and Stuff BUT works via Labor. Its like having a maid.
Sorry if this doesn't makes sense.

It makes perfect senses; however, what do we all qualify as slavery? Ejecting members with their Nations have slaves will attract un-wanted attention of large groups for slavery and we may lose quite a few members.

I say no to slavery. No one wants to hear about it. I discourage it.

Do any of you think that a Domestic Worker is a Slave?

A Domestic Worker (if you mean by inverted servitude) to my standards is not a slave, why? _ It has the basic human rights. _ It needs to be well fed, looked after and given adequate sleeping & living areas. _ It needs to be given a limit of what it can and cannot do. _ It is allowed a retirement.

Slavery in Ajax Prime is all of those except for that a slave may not retire. Also, a slave cannot do anything but work, unless the owner says otherwise.

This is just my Opinion by I don't think Globexanter actually legalize slaves. More like they Introduced Domestic Workers. Domestic workers are NOT SLAVES rather more of a worker that helps to do stuff like Cleaning the house etc. They Have Human Rights, And MUST BE TAKEN CARE OF as mistreating of this Workers are usually dealt with harshly in real world Countries.
Please note that I'm NOT SAYING THAT I AM SUPPORTING SLAVE NATIONS but rather just trying to state my point of view.
(Sorry if the caps makes you feel uncomfortable)

Exactly, that is what Globexanter has introduced. And if any radical anti-slavery state still says it is slavery, may he bring it on.
